DARAN et RAISMES FEST on 13 September !

DARAN et RAISMES FEST on 13 September !

Yes, DARAN will be performing at RAISMES FEST on Saturday 13 afternoon in a guitar/bass/drums rock trio formation with new musicians compared to his dates at the beginning of the year. This will be an opportunity to discover or rediscover this unique artist, whose voice is both incredibly powerful and sensitive, and whose compositions oscillate between rock and calmer moods, but always with top-quality lyrics. He released his 11th album, ‘Grand Hôtel Apocalypse’, last October to rave reviews from all the media. He began his career under the name DARAN ET LES CHAISES in 1992, and enjoyed huge success with the track ‘Dormir dehors’ in 1994-95 on the album ‘Huit barré’, which was recently re-released on CD and vinyl with bonus tracks for its 30th anniversary. Based in Quebec since 2011, it had been 8 years since he had played in France. He played around twenty dates between November and March in France and Belgium, and it's fair to say that, given the turnout, he was more than expected. The second part of his tour kicks off in May, with dates piling up in France and Belgium, in larger venues and at numerous festivals.
