In the end, the pandemic was a good thing. In particular, it enabled Yannis (Reign Of Night, Black Juju Inc.) to express his disappointment in love by composing. As the songs came thick and fast, those around him managed to get the idea of making an album and setting up a band into his head. And so, in 2021, Lion was born, sublimated by a sumptuous cover by Stan W. Decker. Yannis even had the nerve to ask Chris Holmes (ex Wasp) to contribute to the album, which the Cannes-based American gladly accepted. The program: 80s-style hard rock, perfectly executed and assertive. With only 2 concerts under their belts, the Geenens brothers will take us back to a decade that smells of patched jackets, tight pants and studded bracelets.
